Type: Literary Organization
Name: Dactyl Foundation for the Arts & Humanities
Address: 64 Grand Street

Description: Reading Series - Dactyl’s newly organized reading series features poets and novelists who have interests in science (not as a subject in their work, but) as a means of understanding the artistic process. We aim to build larger audiences for literature, by involving them in discussions of aesthetic concepts in terms of natural/physical processes. We hope to show that aesthetic knowledge is as important to understanding the world as are, say, physics and biology.
