| Biography: Donald Lev, born 1936, lives in High Falls, New York, where he continues to publish HOME PLANET NEWS, the newsprint literary review he & his late wife the poet Enid Dame, founded in 1979. He worked in the wire rooms of the DAILY NEWS & the NEW YORK TIMES, drove a taxi cab for 20 years & has been a literary activist in the New York area for decades. He is the author of numerous collections of poetry. His most recent books are THE DARKNESS ABOVE; SELECTED POEMS 1968-2002 (CRS Outloudbooks, Claryville, NY, 2008) and a chapbook, ONLY WINGS (Presa Press, Rockford, MI, 2010). |
