Born in Puerto Rico. Pseudonym for Francisco Gonzalo Marin. In 1891 settled in New York City. Poetry books included "Romances" (1892), "On The Sand" (1898). Collaborated on separatist newspaper, "La Gacita Del Pueblo." Died in the Spanish-American War in Cuba in 1897.
