She wrote a thesis on Milton and Wordsworth at Cornell University. She moved to Delaware and taught at Howard University. In 1920, Dunbar-Nelson edited and published "The Dunbar Speaker and Entertainer," a literary magazine. Other works include "Masterpieces of Negro Eloquence" (1914). |
