Biography:
Various pieces by David Baratier have appeared in Denver Quarterly, Red Brick Review, Jacket, Poet Lore, Slipstream, Quarter After Eight, Riverwind, Phoebe, Situation, Mirage Period(ical) #4, Logodaedalus, Generator, Mass Ave, Poetry Motel, Poetry New York, Key Satch(el), and many others. His poems are anthologized in "American Poetry: the Next Generation," from Carnegie Mellon University Press. Collections include "A Run of Letters" 1998, from PNY (Poetry New York) Press and "The Fall Of Because," Pudding House, 1999. An epistolary and prose novel "In It What's in It" will be released by Spuyten Duyvil in 2000. He is also the founder and editor of Pavement Saw Press. He is the editor of "Hands Collected: The Books of Simon Perchik" to be released in the winter of 1999-00.
