| Full Name: Suzanne Cleary | ||
| Biography: Suzanne Cleary born and raised in Binghamton, New York, did her undergraduate work at SUNY Oneonta. She has an MA in Writing from Washington University and a PhD in Literature and Criticism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. An Associate Professor of English at SUNY Rockland, she also teaches at Manhattanville College and reviews books for BLOOMSBURY REVIEW and CHELSEA. She is available for workshops and conferences as well as readings. Writing about KEEPING TIME, Billy Collins says, "I have long been anticipating this first book and the chance to express how highly I value Suzanne Cleary's poetry." She has received awards from the Poetry Society of America, the Arvon International Poetry Competition, NEW LETTERS and SOUTHERN POETRY REVIEW, residencies at the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony, Vermont Studio Center, and a Fellowship in Poetry from the New York Foundation for the Arts.
