Event Description:

Pam Strother has been writing poetry since the first grade. while residing in Key West, FL for more than a decade, she organized poetry programs, readings, and seminars, and was a reader at Robert Frost Poetry Festival. Although she now lives in Oneonta, NY, she continues as a reviewer of poetry collections for Solares Hill, a Key West newspaper. Her work has appeared at the Butternut Gallery, Montrose, PA, as part of the annual word and image show. Recently she was a judge for Catskill regional competition of Poetry Out Loud. Her first chapbook of poetry, Here at the End of the Road: Key West Poems, was published in 2007. Retired from a career as a university teacher and practicing psychotherapist for mor than thirty years, she devotes her time to writing poetry and volunteering in the community.
