Event Description:

The Brownstone Poets presents poets Al Ortolani and Vincent Quatroche on Tuesday, June 19 at 7 p.m. at the Linger Café & Lounge. Linger for a few hours and enjoy the quaint and cozy café ambiance conveniently located near several subways and Downtown Brooklyn. Feast on tapas and delectable pastries and cookies. The café’s creative menu varies from week to week. Relax with a glass of wine or beer, a cup of coffee or herbal tea while listening to great poetry. There’s an open mic as well. Poetry does grow in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. His writing has appeared in a number of periodicals, across the United States: New Letters, New York Quarterly, The English Journal, The Midwest Quarterly and others. He has three books of poetry, The Last Hippie of Camp 50 and Finding the Edge, published by Woodley Press at Washburn University, and Wren's House, recently released from Coal City Review Press in Lawrence, Kansas. He is active with the Kansas City Writer’s Place and an editor with The Little Balkans Review.
