Event Description: Historical novels are hot! At this panel we will explore what historical fiction means to today’s readers and publishers. We’ll examine what it’s like to work in this market—agent, author, editor, reviewer, or bookseller. Panelists include: novelists Kathryn Harrison and Carole DeSanti; Library Journal’s Prepub Alert Editor Barbara Hoffert; Touchstone Books Sr. Editor Heather Lazare; and Writers House Sr. Agent Daniel Lazar. Free to WNBA Members, $10.00 for Non-Members. Advance registration required. Refreshments and a change to socialize beforehand. Held at Wix Lounge, a free co-working and event space sponsored by Wix.com, a free online platform that allows members to create their own Flash website.
