About the DUC Library Program

Art Resources Transfer, Inc., through its Distribution to Underserved Communities Lib Underserved Communities Library Program (DUC) partners with the NYSCA/Al Poulin Independent Publishers Developement Project to make a variety of contemporary fiction, poetry, literary nonfiction, and drama available to a wide audience throughout the state. The DUC/Program/Poulin Partnership distributes magazines, journals, and books from nonprofit independent publishers in New York State free of charge to alternative and school libraries, including correctional facilities, adult day care, youth centers, and public libraries where needed.

Publishers wishing to donate remaindered books and libraries wishing to receive donations may contact:
