INTERSTATE/INTERNATIONAL WRITERS! -- THIS IS THE PLACE TO FIND NATIONAL WRITERS WHO ARE READY TO READ THEIR WORK TO NEW YORK AUDIENCES.

Absolute minimum fee to be paid to writers is $100-$150 plus travel, lodging, and meals. (Please consider travel time, too; if a writer travels three or four hours from her home for an evening reading she will lose two days of work).

Guidelines for Circuit/Interstate/International Writers:

Writers who are listed in the Poets & Writers Directory are automatically eligible for listing in the Circuit Writers or Interstate/International Writers pages on LitTree, but must request a listing. Additional eligible writers:

Those whose writing is:

1. creative (literary) nonfiction, or about writers, or writing published in a literary journal, anthology, or edited web publication;
2. literary translation published in a literary journal, anthology, or edited web publication;
3. a book (or books) that have (or has) been published by literary publishers using a professional editorial selection process;
4. a play (or plays) that has (or have) received a full production at a regional theater or Off-off-Broadway;
5. a play or plays (full-length or one-act) that has (or have) been published in a literary journal, anthology, or edited web publication; or by a recognized play publisher.

Work that is self-published or requires payment by the author is not eligible.
