| Biography: Debra Kang Dean's work has appeared in many magazines and a number of anthologies, including "Unsettling America: An Anthology of Contemporary Multicultural Poetry," "The Best American Poetry 1999," and "The New American Poets: A Bread Loaf Anthology." Her chapbook of poems, "Back to Back" (NCWN, 1997), selected by Ruth Stone, won the Harperprints Poetry Chapbook Competition. She has published two full-length collections with BOA Editions: "News of Home" (1998), which was co-winner of the NEPC's Sheila Margaret Motton Award, and "Precipitates" (2003). |
