Description: Midmarch Arts Press is a not-for-profit organization established in 1974. It started with a periodical, WOMEN ARTISTS NEWS, first published monthly—then quarterly—then annually— for 24 years. It reviewed art exhibitions, books and included poetry and essays by women. In 1979 we published our first book and have continued issuing up to 6 titles a year with the focus on the visual arts and poetry (by and about men and women).
